I only wanted to be Human...
I made this set 23 days ago. Entering portrait contests. The face is an original artwork. I only pimped it up. The set already has 75 likes. That's my max. How silly is that? I created dolls, limb by limb, clouds and grass which demands more creativity than spicing up an existing pic. Therefore I'd like to mention the original artist Mister Billy Nunez. Click here to check out his impressive portfolio!

Heart Meat
I'm still not sure what to think of this set! :) I made it several times but every time I pressed my delete button. There had to be a good contest in which the set wouldn't be considered to be too freakeh! :) I get small goosebumps when I look at it....
Bane Horse
Sometimes it's good to skip an initial idea and keep that fantasy going.
"Found in the Curio Shop: sitting on a window sill, a charming little sculpture. Create an art set using all or part of this find. Please be mindful of previous entries -- do your own thing and be original."
The charming little sculpture became Bane! Yes, Batman's villain. Although I must admit his mask looks completely different from what I had in mind while I was busy creating this set.

One Cut 2: Maliblue; a hand held fan
Second set, a hand held fan, made from one item only. This time a bag! Was looking for something floral. Had a shirt at first but the colours didn't pop. I love the colours of the bag though I wasn't really fond of the print. The first cut turned out to be the best! I was lucky to have some shadow too so I could create a less flat fan.
One Cut
As a Polyvorian I've joined (and left) groups. One group I'm in is called "One Cut".
This group has contests in which one can only use 1 item to create a complete new object. It's a challenge to find the right item!
This was the first one I made. A necklace made from a feather. I like the raffia feel of it. Proud to say I was also the winner of this awesome contest! :)

Peacock Eyes
Peacock Eyes van sammie-g met Via Spiga leggings
Peacock themed contest. There was this peacock as inspiration and I immediately saw a warm furry coat.
Mind you, I'm not saying to shoot some of these lovely birds just to look good!
But art makes anything possible! ;)

Sunset Hunters
Sunset Hunters van sammie-g met Alexis Bittar rings
I was very eager to use that face and when I found the body I knew which way to go dollwise.
The background was a difficult one. It's also being lucky in finding what you have in mind. I didn't have anything in mind though. First I had these light winterish backgrounds but that just wasn't it. I wanted to create a popping complementary coloured background without losing the girl.
One of my best sets so far. I also won the 1st place in the group contest:
Polyvore Galleries Doll Show Challenge Contest.
